Hales definatly has high quality service. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Having this store close is handy. The archery pro shop staff are great. Nice selection of equipment.
I dealt with the manager his name is Mark and he is great. Hands on and willing to help in every facet of my shopping experience. This is my hardware store & hunting supply store. I drive one 1/2 hour just too go to this particular store.
Little bit of everything! Helpful staff. A little pricey but I expect that from a small town hardware store. I bet the owner works there and lives close by.

Hales True Value is a great place to shop. Of course, they are more expensive than your big box stores. You are paying for convenience and knowledge here. The people in the store can answer just about any question you can throw at them (or find someone there that knows). They have a good selection of hardware as well as a hunting section and a radio shack in the store. The guns/ammo/hunting is more overpriced than it should be. I'd have to REALLY be in a bind to buy that stuff there.
